However, there are things that professionals can do that I cannot, and in those situations, it saves me a lot of stress, money, and work in the long run to hire a professional.

Oh, yes! It is quite easy to communicate via phone, e-mail, and the postal service. I've done websites for local people in Georgia, as well as from states away, like Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, and California!
